Introducing…

I’ve finally managed to get a spare few minutes to introduce the new member of the Netbasic family… Say hello to Freyja Éowyn Titcumb. She was born on the 11th April at 12:45pm, weighing in at 8lb 8oz (and a half, but they didn’t record that bit). It was, what can I say, a “fun” 13 hour labour… nothing like I expected it to be, and a tad painful, but as soon as we met her, it made every wince worth it. James and I are both enjoying all the new experiences and learning how to be good parents – admittedly, remaining positive and happy can be a chore when Freyja decides to not sleep for hours at a time, but she’s getting there. She’s currently fast asleep on my knee, and has been for the past couple of hours – hence why I have a spare few minutes to write a post.

James and I would like to thank everyone at Netbasic for the fantastic gifts for her – admittedly, I want the teddy for myself, but I suppose Freyja can have it *Hmph*

James will be returning to work in a week – I don’t know how I’ll cope changing all the nappies on my own – it will be interesting to say the least, and I daresay James will be returning home to a very smelly warzone, but tough.

She’s beginning to stir – I guess I should get on with feeding the poor mite. I think her last feed is all over my knee being dribbled out of her soggy nappy.
