Check out this Christmas card from our friends at MNC. It’s made by one of their clients Moonpig.com, and I’m sure most of you have now seen at least one of their TV adverts for Moonpig. I’m singing their catchy / annoying theme tune as I write!
Anyway, thanks to the team at MNC – it made me chuckle!
Unlike some people I don’t really drink many spirits and when I do it’s usually vodka based. Over the years I have played with making various flavoured vodkas the best so far being plum and raspberry and the worst being a particularly stringent chilli.
This year as everyone in the office seems to be on a Curly Wurly binge I decided to try and make a Curly Wurly vodka for Christmas. So, one lunch time we went to Sainsbury’s and I bought a bottle of cheap vodka (well vodkat – whatever that is) and a pack of 5 Curly Wurlys.
When we got back I cut the Curly Wurlys into pieces, put them into the bottle of vodkat and then left it for a good 3-4 weeks to dissolve – niiiice.
The result is something that smells like Baileys and looks like vomit, but with a bit of straining I’m sure we’ll have a knockout product to consume… more on this once I’ve found some filter papers!
As you may have read in the Business Excellence awards in the Portsmouth News, we’re looking to hire again!
If you can sell, are a graduate and have been working for over a year then we need you. As an Account Manager in the commercial team at Netbasic you will be trained to manage one of our websites. A good understanding of the Internet or all-things-techy would be a useful quality – but we’ll give you full online marketing training, so don’t worry about lack of experience in online business in your working life so far.
Are you the sales team member who always beats their targets and the team around them? Do you want to feel like you’re running your own business, but with all the benefits of working for a company? At Netbasic each member of the commercial team is given their own website to manage – and it could be you!
All this includes a basic of £25k per year with a £40k per year OTE. Benefits include pension, life cover, private medical and of course our annual ski trip. As I’ve been a young parent myself we also have a very flexible attitude to childcare.
So does this all sound good? Well get writing… send a covering letter or email plus your CV to me at luke@netbasic.co.uk now!
